Job summary

Perry Homes is seeking a Purchasing Agent to negotiate pricing and rebates with major suppliers, manage vendor improvements, and set labor rates for new subdivisions. You will collaborate with executives and construction teams to ensure accurate pricing for estimating and timely issue resolution.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and time-management skills with travel to Houston and Texas markets as needed. Bachelor’s degree preferred and bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or Construction related field.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, operations or estimating preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and rebate agreements with vendors/contractors.
• Manage vendor/product improvements and changes.
• Advise construction personnel on vendor/product issues and liaise with vendors to resolve disputes.
