Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking an enthusiastic Purchaser to join our team. Purchasers are responsible for coordinating timely orders, maintaining service levels, and ensuring accurate purchase orders while supporting vendor relationships.

This full-time role emphasizes integrity, customer satisfaction, and teamwork within a growing building products company. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to perform physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates timely ordering of materials to maintain service levels.
• Prepares and administers purchase orders with accurate material descriptions and costs.
• Adheres to purchasing policies, processes and procedures.
• Maintains vendor relationships and evaluates supplier performance.
• Monitors PO arrivals and informs stakeholders of status.
• Assists in market analysis and trend identification.
