Bradsby Group is seeking a Construction Projects Superintendent II or Sr. Superintendent for wind energy projects. The role involves coordinating, planning, and supervising assistants, contractors and craft work on large-scale industrial/utility projects.

Expect travel up to 100% with 3 weeks on, 7 days off rotations, and a requirement to manage schedules, look-ahead planning, and safety/compliance. Candidates should have a degree or 10 years trade experience, 5+ years field experience, OSHA 30,

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement to ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support project schedule
• Review construction documents for completeness and constructability, understand contract documents, coordinate plans with design engineers
• Develop and manage project schedule, site logistics plan, utilize tools and equipment, collaborate with project partner superintendents
• Coach, supervise, and develop team members, conduct orientations, planning sessions, site meetings, supervise project partners, interview/hire/transfer/dismiss team members
• Ensure proper task coding, lead and track work progress, handle team member training, conduct career development discussions
• Build effective relationships with diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Lead by example, offer coaching and feedback, manage performance
• Provide high-level management of safety, quality, risk, and compliance, recognize and mitigate unfavorable conditions, seek process improvements

Job Title: Construction Projects Superintendent II or Sr. Superintendent (Wind Energy Team)

Location / Travel Requirement: Remote w/100% TRAVEL: 100% Travel required with regular rotations home every 3 weeks. Must work Monday-Saturday for 3 weeks, then home for 7 days.

JOB SUMMARY: Client is currently seeking a Superintendent that will be responsible for providing coordination, planning, and supervision to assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.

Crane experience a plus, but, not just for a crane company and Foundation concrete experience a plus.

MUST be able to create a schedule, understand and drive 3-, 6-, monthly, quarterly look ahead and be able to give actual examples of how you work the schedule and with what tools.

Must have experience with self-perform work. Managing sub-contractors only are not desired.

Wind experience a plus, but more important, worked in industrial and utility sized projects

QUALIFICATIONS: must have worked on large scale projects

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, OR 10 years trade experience
• 5+ years experience minimum
• Current driver's license
• Ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for multiple, complex projects
• Detail-oriented, able to organize and manage multiple project tasks
• Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Positive, professional attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to interpret and communicate company policies
• Effective communication and active listening skills, openness to diverse input and feedback, ability to travel up to 100%
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Must be able to lead all levels of employees; craft to superintendents - lead by example
• Must be able to effectively mentor and coach Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendents
