Job summary

You will work with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, perform contract administration, and provide statewide guidance on facilities planning and capital improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, construction, mechanical, or architectural fields with 2 years of experience, or a Master's with 1 year.
• Relevant professional experience may substitute for education.
• Ability to travel statewide, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage Fixed Capital Outlay projects from initiation to completion with cross‑functional coordination.
• Develop solicitations, manage procurements, evaluate bids, and administer contracts.
• Provide statewide guidance on facilities planning, capital improvements, and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee the Department's real property portfolio including leases and land records.
• Support privatized facilities through site visits and compliance reviews.
• Perform related duties to support the Department's mission.
