Job summary

The Garrett Companies is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler to support PM teams in developing, maintaining, and reporting detailed schedules. You will ensure master schedule accuracy and monitor progress throughout the project life cycle, auditing Lookahead schedules as needed.

The role requires expertise in MS Project and Primavera P6, plus strong Excel skills, with the ability to coordinate across Preconstruction, Development, and PM teams and generate clear status reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Construction project management experience.
• Experience using MS Project or Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
• Expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and supporting project schedules.
• Ability to operate independently and report in writing and verbally.
• Ability to build consensus, manage details, and anticipate issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects of schedule enforcement and development.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules using MS Project.
• Integrate multiple schedules into a master schedule (baseline, status, monitoring).
• Create and maintain schedule reports (Gantt, milestones).
• Gather information from project teams and prepare progress reports.
• Support planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting for PM teams.
• Standardize scheduling approach to improve accuracy and reporting.
• Troubleshoot scheduling issues and run weekly schedule reviews.
• Train Field Operations and PM staff on scheduling best practices.
• Maintain positive relationships with Garrett Companies personnel.
