The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking two Construction Project Managers to support DMV and its customers through management of construction and inspection activities, on all phases of projects, to ensure quality, safety, budget, schedule, and that projects are in accordance with plans and specifications.
Under the Director’s guidance, the Construction Project Manager will conduct and coordinate project document reviews, managing projects during planning and construction phases to ensure compliance with appropriate codes, laws, and professional standards; Provides technical assistance and coordination of all aspects of projects. Recommends acceptance and non-acceptance of work performed by contractors. Coordinates regulatory and compliance authorities review of project; determines actions required for compliance and assures adherence to such requirements.
