The role oversees preconstruction through closeout, coordinating procurement, planning, field operations, cost management, and collaboration with superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6+ years GC/CM construction management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop bidders list and overall bidding strategy; manage bidder tracking and CPS data.
• Organize pre-bid meetings and manage bidder questions.
• Develop work scopes and front-end documents; mentor others.
• Receive/evaluate bids and write subcontracts, including complex types.
• Set up a complex project schedule with activities, logic and durations.
• Develop site logistics plans with the superintendent.
• Set up cash flow and manpower projection analyses.
• Prepare constructability reviews and preconstruction estimates.
• Initiate jobsite setup, including staffing.
• Establish and oversee jobsite safety plan and safety culture on site.
• Ensure timely completion of punchlists.
• Assist with labor relations with field personnel.
• Implement emergency crisis procedures and ensure staff training.
• Manage owner equipment coordination and BIM processes.
• Create and manage general conditions budget; monitor projections.
• Monitor costs and change management; assist with profitability.
• Support business development; respond to RFPs and prepare presentations.
• Interface with Architect/Engineer and manage approvals.
