Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead teams through all phases of project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You will ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget are met while collaborating with superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in GC/CM Construction Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Local candidates or those willing to travel to the project site are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: Develop bidders lists, manage bidding documents and bidder tracking, organize pre-bid meetings, develop work scopes, evaluate bids and write subcontracts.
• Planning: Initiate project schedules, develop site logistics plans, cash flow and manpower projections, constructability reviews, preconstruction estimates, site setup and staffing.
• Field Operations: Establish and oversee site safety plan, ensure punchlist completion, labor relations with field personnel, emergency procedures, coordinate equipment and BIM processes.
• Cost Management: Create and manage general conditions budget, establish non-reimbensables, set up cost structures in Prolog, monitor costs and change management, assist with owner changes and cash management.
• Management: Facilitate project team meetings, maintain office procedures, interface with code officials, support business development, manage relationships with Architect/Engineer.
