Job summary

Barton Malow in Macon, GA, seeks a Project Engineer to support fast-paced, high-profile projects across the Carolinas and Georgia. You’ll coordinate with superintendents, PMs, design partners, and trade contractors to keep work moving safely and on schedule.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, 1–5 years in construction, strong organization and communication, and willingness to travel NC, SC, and GA. OSHA 30 preferred and VDC/BIM experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of professional experience in construction.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
• Willingness to travel to NC, SC, and GA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with superintendents, PMs, designers, and trade contractors.
• Process and track submittals and RFIs to ensure timely review and compliance.
• Assist with schedule development and change orders.
• Promote safety policies on the jobsite.
