Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking a construction project leader to guide complex installations from kickoff to closeout. You will set schedules, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and manage a multi‑million-dollar budget including labor, materials, and equipment costs.

The role requires a background in construction leadership or labor-management, familiarity with scheduling and electronics integration, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in a construction leadership role or labor-management experience.
• Knowledge of construction technology, electronics integration, scheduling, equipment and methods preferred.
• Combination of training, education and relevant work experience acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Four-year college degree not required.
• Certifications (RCDD BICSI, DCDC BICSI, PMP) not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings, define schedules, and conduct site walk-throughs with stakeholders.
• Maintain regular updates with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project alignment.
• Assume responsibility for the multi-million-dollar project budget including shift, labor hours, materials equipment costs.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are ordered, received, and staged prior to the start of the project.
• Oversee workforce scheduling, hiring, and performance management of installation technicians, ensuring optimal staffing levels and coordination for project execution.
• Track milestones, manage change orders, and maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Deliver final project closeout, conduct client training, and facilitate post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
