Job summary

The City of New York invites applications for a Construction Project Manager I position (34201). This role supports end-to-end capital projects within NYCHA’s Asset & Capital Management division, focusing on planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Minimum qualifications include four years of construction management experience or related degrees; a NY Driver license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in management of capital contracts through all project phases—planning, design, procurement, construction, and close-out.
• Monitor schedules and reports to ensure project completion dates.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive project files and meeting minutes.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders and support bid processes and analysis.
• Assist with constructability reviews and field site visits.
