Talent Edge Recruiting seeks a Project Manager for its Sports and Golf division. This field- and travel-based role requires relocation to the Kansas City metro area and up to 70% nationwide travel. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (new grads welcome).
• 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience with a project management software platform (Procore a plus).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–12 active projects at a time, ranging from $1.3M to $12M.
• Own the full project lifecycle: schedule, procurement, and PO management.
• Serve as the technical contact to architects/engineers and liaise with on-site superintendents.
• Coordinate with the office to move crews and equipment to jobsites; conduct regular meetings.
• Balance office planning with 3–4 site visits per day.
• Travel regionally and cross-country to project sites, keeping rotations manageable.
• Track daily field notes, progress, and billing in Procore.

About the Role

This is a field- and travel-based role, up to 70% travel across a multi-state territory spanning the Midwest to the East Coast.

Responsibilities

• Manage 10–12 active projects at a time — a mix of new construction and closeout work, ranging from $1.3M to $12M and running anywhere from 4 months to 2 years
• Own the full project lifecycle: schedule, procurement, and purchase orders, with the autonomy to run your projects your way
• Serve as the technical point of contact to architects and engineers, and the on-the-ground liaison to your onsite superintendents
• Coordinate closely with the office to keep crews and equipment moving to the right jobsites, with regular in-person meetings to stay aligned with your team
• Balance heavy planning days in the office with 3–4 jobsite visits a day when you're in the field
• Travel regionally and cross-country to project sites, with the company mindful about keeping any single rotation manageable
• Track daily field notes, progress, and billing in Procore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (new grads welcome) OR 2+ years of commercial construction project management experience
• Concrete construction experience strongly preferred; earthwork experience also considered
• Experience with a project management software platform (Procore experience a plus)
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, including regional driving and occasional flights
• Comfortable managing a high volume of concurrent projects (10–12) in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

• PMP or similar project management certification
• Concrete construction experience strongly preferred; earthwork experience also considered
• Experience with a project management software platform (Procore experience a plus)

Pay range and compensation package

• $80,000–$95,000/year, based on experience
• Compensation includes a company vehicle and a company credit card for all travel and job-related expenses — no waiting on reimbursements, even as a brand-new PM.
• Schedule starts at 7:00 AM and runs based on what the job needs that day.
