Job summary

Commercial Metals Company in Texas is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage the forecasting, submittal and delivery schedules, and overall health of multiple projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for CMC, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and field teams to keep projects on track.

The role requires 2+ years in project coordination or construction, plus ability to read contract documents and control costs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination or construction-related field.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings.
• Solid understanding of project costs and cost control.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with coordinating schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecasting, submittal schedule, delivery schedule, and overall job health.
• Serve as primary contact for CMC.
• Review proposals to identify risks and propose solutions.
• Resolve daily issues to ensure timely, safe, and profitable projects.
• Write and review RFIs for cost impact.
• Maintain project reports for management and customers.
• Interact with departments to ensure contract obligations are met.
• Attend jobsite visits and meetings as needed.
