Job summary

The City of Chandler is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the Capital Improvements Division within Public Works & Utilities. The role follows a 6:00 am–3:00 pm schedule with potential flex arrangements after a 6-month probation.

The ideal candidate will manage planning, procurement, and construction across water, roadway, facilities, and parks projects, including site visits and quality oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Park Administration or related field.
• 4 years of experience in construction management or related design fields.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Ability to perform site visits and supervise field inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of construction planning and project management for city capital projects.
• Administer related contracts and procurement for transportation, utilities, and buildings.
• Conduct site visits and supervise field inspections during construction.
• Identify areas needing attention and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
