Position Overview

HDR is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Power Construction Professionals team in the Las Vegas/Phoenix area. As a Project Manager in our Construction Services Group, your responsibilities include:

  1. Building and maintaining client relationships, developing new Power Construction Services clients.
  2. Supporting proposal development and opportunity tracking with marketing.
  3. Overseeing contract negotiations, resource recruitment, invoice approval, and budget management across multiple projects.
  4. Managing larger projects involving multiple services, making staffing and resource decisions.
  5. Supporting business development and maintaining annual goals.
  6. Developing and leading QA/QC processes and maintaining project documentation.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience and 2 years of project management experience.
  • Experience supporting construction services for Power Delivery, Hydro, Generation, and Renewables projects.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Experience managing and mentoring staff, with leadership skills.
  • Strong client and project management skills.

Preferred:

  • Ability to interpret construction schedules.
  • Relevant industry certifications (PMP, PE, etc.).
