Job summary

Tennyson Electric Inc in Livermore is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with budget. You will plan resources, track costs, and report progress to stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus 2–4 years of project management experience in construction. Proficiency with PM software and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field; not required but encouraged.
• 2-4 years of project management experience or equivalent.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools and best practices.
• Experience seeing projects through full life cycle; GC and Subcontractor exposure.
• Experience with Caltrans and public works projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope and objectives; manage resources to meet goals.
• Track costs and manage the project budget; prepare and monitor schedules.
• Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare change orders for out-of-scope work; oversee billings with accounting.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and Foreman daily.
• Attend jobsite meetings and ensure adherence to standards.
