Job summary

Intertek in Farmingdale, NY is seeking a Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team. You will lead government and large private projects, manage budgets, prepare proposals, and ensure client satisfaction from kickoff to closeout.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Construction Materials Testing or Project Management, reads construction plans, and communicates clearly with stakeholders while coordinating field and laboratory teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher as a minimum education.
• 5+ years' experience in Construction Materials Testing and/or Project Management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and attend project meetings and maintain client relationships.
• Review project setup and prepare proposals for internal/external review.
• Monitor project budget and initiate change orders as needed.
• Review and submit invoices and manage test reports.
• Supervise field and laboratory personnel and ensure ASTM/ACI standards.
• Coordinate field testing and inspections with clients.
