Job summary

MPI in Indianapolis is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead specialty architectural projects from kickoff through completion. You will coordinate with clients, architects, manufacturers, and subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly and on schedule.

The successful candidate will review architectural drawings and specifications, drive schedules and budgets, and manage critical project documentation while handling multiple complex projects with a strong focus on quality and client

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience within construction or related industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex, detail-intensive projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and proactive.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of specialty architectural projects from kickoff to completion.
  • Lead coordination across clients, architects, manufacturers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specs, and submittals for accurate execution.
  • Drive schedules, budgets, scope, and milestones; identify and resolve roadblocks.
  • Own documentation including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and correspondence.
  • Manage multiple highly customized projects while maintaining quality and timelines.

Job Description
  • Take full ownership of specialty architectural projects from initial kickoff through successful completion
  • Lead coordination across clients, architects, manufacturers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving seamlessly
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate project execution
  • Drive project schedules, budgets, scope, and key milestones while proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks
  • Own critical project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project correspondence
  • Manage multiple complex, highly customized projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, timelines, and client expectations

The Successful Applicant
  • 3+ years of project management experience within construction or a related industry
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple complex, detail-intensive projects simultaneously
  • Highly driven, hands-on professional with a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and willingness to dive into the details to get the job done
  • Strong understanding of project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Confident reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings, plans, and project specifications
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to anticipate challenges, problem-solve quickly, and keep projects moving forward
