Job summary

Susquehanna Valley Construction Corporation seeks a Project Manager to oversee organization, planning and supervision to build projects from estimating through subcontractor setup. You will schedule long term critical-path and short term three-week plans, drive profitability and completion on time, and report to the President.

This role requires coordinating Foremen, managing subcontractors, and ensuring timely submissions to owners.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required or preferred with PE licensure in PA.
• Professional Engineering License in PA preferred.
• Candidate must demonstrate strong work ethic and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Organize the overall project and ensure Foremen execute the plan.
• Plan project equipment, staff, and materials from bid documents.
• Select and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate engineering submissions with Chief Engineer.
• Create and update long-term CPM schedule and 3-week short-term schedule.
• Monitor cost performance and prepare labor and total job cost reports.
• Ensure timely submissions to owner and coordinate change work with estimators.
• Lead meetings with field operations and communicate plans to crews.

Education

B.S. in Civil Engineering

Professional Engineering License (PA) preferable
