Job summary

Immel Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead retail construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with field superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and owners to manage budgets, schedules, and quality while maintaining safety and compliance.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of PM experience, with OSHA 30 certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent industry experience required.
• OSHA 30 certification required; must be obtained within the first 12 months of employment if not already held.
• Minimum 3 years of construction industry experience with a focus on project management.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned construction projects from planning to closeout.
• Partner with field superintendent to ensure project schedules, milestones, and objectives are achieved.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasting financial performance and job costs.
• Execute timely project buyouts and prepare subcontracts and change orders.
• Support field operations to manage risk and ensure safety of employees, subcontractors, customers, facilities, equipment, and the public.
• Review project documentation including plans, specs, and geotechnical reports.
