ARCO seeks a Project Manager to lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work with clients and the design team to develop budgets and concept drawings, review scope and fees, and oversee subcontractors.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field is required.
• 2-10 years of construction management or engineering design experience.
• Experience leading ground-up commercial, light industrial, hospitality or entertainment construction is preferred.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of the project from the earliest stages of preconstruction through project closeout.
• Work closely with clients and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings and project budget.
• Participate in the proposal meeting with clients to review the scope of work, discuss cost-saving ideas, and negotiate contracts & fees.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout process for all trades and vendors.
• Identify opportunities to procure material and/or specialty equipment to fit budget/schedule.
• Develop and review subcontractor scopes of work/contracts, project schedule, and site logistics plan.
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors and vendors to resolve constructability and sequencing issues.
• Lead on-site progress review meetings and address challenges with the client.
• Track and manage project performance vs budget; prepare pay applications and progress reports.
