Job summary

W.M. Schlosser Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget adherence.

You will coordinate with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within contract requirements. The role requires strong leadership, detailed documentation, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction industry experience
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• Government general contractor experience strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, RFIs, submittals, procurement, change management, cost control, forecasting, and closeout
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction platforms such as Procore
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and Bluebeam preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership, organization, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Lead construction projects from notice to proceed through final closeout
• Manage schedules, budgets, cost reports, RFIs, submittals, pay applications, procurement, change orders, and closeout documentation
• Coordinate with Superintendents and field teams to align field execution with project goals
• Communicate professionally with owners, designers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Lead project meetings, track action items, and maintain accurate project documentation
• Identify and manage project risks, scope changes, cost impacts, and schedule concerns
• Reinforce compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, quality expectations, and contract documents
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to project team members
