Job summary

Scherrer Construction Co., Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, and oversee diverse construction projects from bid to closeout. You will coordinate internal teams, partners, and owners to ensure work meets quality, schedule, and budget requirements.

The role requires leading and coordinating a project team, negotiating subcontracts, and managing cost and profitability while maintaining safety standards and contract compliance. A strong client-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in all phases of the construction process with minimum 3+ years.
• Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage project teams.
• Advanced problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with estimating carpentry, concrete, and masonry is a plus.
• Must be a committed team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from bid to closeout.
• Lead project team including superintendent, architect, PC, PE, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Manage bids, pricing and scheduling.
• Plan and manage self-performed trades and assist with estimates.
• Negotiate subcontracts and owner contracts.
• Oversee project schedule and progress meetings.
• Ensure quality, safety, and profitability targets are met.
