Job summary

Old Dominion Insulation (ODI) is seeking a qualified Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects from start to completion. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while maintaining strong client relationships and guiding project teams.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, reviewing submittals, managing change orders, and monitoring billing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; advanced training preferred.
• Experience leading multiple projects within construction settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of safety, quality standards, and HR policies.
• Proficiency with project controls, scheduling, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects ensuring milestones and budgets are met.
• Supervise and mentor project engineers and assistant PMs.
• Coordinate with Safety to maintain a zero-incident workplace.
• Oversee documentation, trackers, logs, and turnover binders.
• Review submittals and ensure compliance with specs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Manage client communication and meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Price, submit, and negotiate change orders and log updates.
• Oversee project billing to maintain cash flow within 90 days of start.
• Identify and mitigate risks; collaborate with construction managers and superintendents.
