Job summary

Gulf Stream Construction Company, a Charleston-based turnkey site contractor, seeks a Project Manager to lead site construction projects across South Carolina and coastal Georgia. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate equipment, materials, and budgets to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

You will work with the owner/engineer, GC, subcontractors, and vendors to resolve issues, approve submittals, and manage buyouts while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 3-5 years of project management experience in construction.
• Proficiency with B2W and ViewPoint software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define scope of work and deliverables by reviewing plans and drawings.
• Coordinate with owner/engineer, GC, subcontractors, and vendors to meet deadlines and budget goals.
• Communicate project status with superintendents and office staff; manage resources and staffing.
• Manage project budgets, invoicing, and subcontractor billings to ensure profitability.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and cost reports; ensure permits and approvals.
