Job summary

Shook Construction Co. is seeking an experienced construction Project Manager in Indianapolis to lead project teams, manage subcontractors, and oversee schedules, budgets, and risk. The role reports to the Director of Operations and requires strong leadership and client-relations skills.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in engineering or construction management and 5–10 years of construction experience, plus proficiency in Primavera, AutoCAD, and related tools. PE/LEED certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-year BS degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of construction experience.
• Strong reading, analysis and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Primavera/Oracle scheduling and AutoCAD are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages critical subcontractors and procurement processes.
• Negotiates subcontracts and purchase agreements.
• Creates and manages project schedules and cost resources.
• Drives safety, quality control, and performance metrics.
• Mentors project engineers and supports risk management.
