Job summary

Lexicon Inc. is seeking a Project Manager with experience in steel fabrication and construction to lead projects from kickoff to closeout. This role emphasizes client communication, scheduling, cost control, documentation, and coordination with suppliers and subcontractors onsite.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and have strong MS Word, Excel, and Project skills, with at least four years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in steel fabrication and erection.
• Familiarity with AISC and OSHA requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Understanding of project finances and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage contractual responsibilities on construction projects, including client communication, schedule, deliveries, and documentation.
• Act as primary contact with the customer and coordinate with erectors and subcontractors onsite.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules and pay applications.
• Review submittals and RFIs for accuracy and timely responses.
• Provide weekly project status reports and oversee scope changes with all stakeholders.
