Job summary

Just Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, financial management, and successful execution of commercial and institutional construction projects in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and high-quality results.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, consultants, and field leadership to drive outcomes and maintain strong relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial or institutional construction.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, procurement, and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and financial projections.
• Prepare and manage owner pay applications and billing.
• Negotiate, execute, and administer subcontract agreements.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and contract documentation.
• Collaborate with field leadership to develop and maintain project schedules.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget.
• Lead meetings with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, cost control, and overall financial success.
• Coordinate project closeout, including punch list completion, owner training, warranties, and final documentation.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support the development of project teams.
