Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will ensure on-time delivery, manage schedules and budgets, and serve as the main contact between owners, architects, and subcontractors.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years as a PM on $1M+ projects and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related engineering. Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience functioning as a Project Manager on projects ranging from $1M and over in value.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related Engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to organize own schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with P6, Viewpoint Team and Spectrum is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Serve as the main point of contact between owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and change management.
• Enforce site safety standards in coordination with field leadership.
• Conduct regular site visits, progress meetings, and documentation reviews.
• Support value engineering, scope review, and constructability assessments.
• Collaborate with superintendents, estimators, and leadership teams.
