Job summary

Centerra Group seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead building projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and code compliance. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, hiring subcontractors, managing contracts, and enforcing safety regulations.

The role requires travel, coordination across multiple locations, and oversight of QC procedures to meet scope and financial targets.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience managing projects > $10M.
• 6+ years' experience as Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager in construction.
• 50%+ travel required.
• RS Means Estimating experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour certifications required.
• LEED GA or AP/AP+ preferred.
• State Certified General Contractor's license required (CA, AZ, NM, CO) and/or NASCLA certification preferred.
• Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, or Revit experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) respected.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction task orders from RFP to completion.
• Develop RS Means pricing proposals when required.
• Identify and evaluate effective subcontractors; negotiate pricing for RFP elements.
• Support multiple construction RFPs in diverse locations with travel.
• Develop quality control procedures and ensure work aligns with scope of work.
• Ensure projects meet financial metrics and stay on schedule.
• Develop and implement safety programs in line with OSHA and other regs.
• Supervise trades personnel and subcontractors on site.
• Work in a busy office environment; core hours Mon-Fri with possible extended/weekend hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
