Harris Company in Saint Paul, MN offers a Summer 2027 Construction Project Manager Intern position designed to give college students hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle—from pre-job estimating and permits to construction tracking and project closeout.

You will read construction documents, assist with safety, purchasing, submittals, RFIs and change orders, and work closely with the project team to develop math and analytical skills, communication, and teamwork in a leading

• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction project management.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-job activities: estimating, job setup, contracts, permits and insurance certificates.
• During construction: safety, purchasing, submittals, tracking materials/equipment, productivity, change orders and RFIs.
• Job closeout: O&M manuals, as-record drawings, and warranties.
