Job summary

PCI is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Dallas 114 operations based in Midlothian, TX. The role provides project management support to commercial projects and requires knowledge of safety plans, QA/QC, and coordinating diverse trades.

The position emphasizes estimating, scheduling, cost control, and vendor/subcontractor coordination. A 3–5 year background in interior construction and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Construction Management experience in interior construction.
• Experience with estimating, project management, and managing specialty scopes of construction (drywall, framing, ACT, etc.).
• Ability to diagnose key project information, identify profitability risks, and navigate to a successful outcome.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong reading of specifications and drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and measures for the branch and projects.
• Understand PCI guidelines related to the corporate safety program.
• Create/manage punch lists proactively.
• Adhere to QA/QC measures and participate in quality control.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate building systems with the overall construction process.
• Navigate activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Review quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates and manage material orders.
• Create and implement job schedules; coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Monitor labor, adjust to maximize profits, and manage change orders with subcontractors.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M programs.
• Assist in vendor selection and equipment/material coordination.
• Oversee subcontract buyout, issue contracts, sequence work, and track billings.
• Complete monthly FAW-based job cost controls and support Customer Alignment Plan.
