Job summary

Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) in Dallas seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager for its PCI Dallas 114 operations in West Texas/Panhandle. You will lead safety plans, QA/QC, prepare submittals, schedules, and cost control while coordinating with field teams and vendors.

The role requires 5–10 years in construction, strong Excel/Word skills, and excellent communication. A Bachelor’s degree in CM or similar is preferred; local Dallas residency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience on a variety of construction projects, with interior scopes including drywall, framing, ACT, etc.
• Ability to diagnose and process key information, recognize critical areas on the job that could impact profitability, and navigate risks/liabilities for a successful outcome.
• Ability to understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scope of work.
• Management skills to oversee assigned projects and teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
• Superb communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and sound judgment.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with focus on profitability.
• Motivated and positive attitude in a team environment.
• OSHA Certification.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in safety plans and measures for the branch and projects.
• Follow PCI safety guidelines.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Ensure QA/QC measures are followed on projects.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals and shop drawings.
• Understand building systems and how they relate to the process.
• Coordinate activities to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Perform takeoffs to verify estimates and price changes.
• Create job schedules and communicate with field supervisors.
• Manage labor, setup, maintenance, and profitability.
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s.
• Assist in vendor selection and material coordination.
• Oversee subcontractor buyouts, contracts, and change orders.
• Complete monthly FAWs for cost control.
• Support customer relations and align with Customer Alignment Plan.
