Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a construction-focused project manager to oversee MARS infrastructure initiatives from cradle to grave. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams, manage cost, schedule, and performance, and ensure compliance with licenses, regulations, and NASA directives in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong technical construction management background, field inspections, and the ability to work with customers, contractors, and internal staff to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred; PMP certification or strong PM credentials encouraged.
• PMP certification strongly preferred with relevant PM experience.
• 2+ years of relevant project management experience; alternative combinations with degree may apply.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with project stakeholders, engineers, and technical staff on major project deliverables.
• Works with customer, support contractors, and MARS staff to meet mission requirements.
• Ensures plans, safety policies, and environmental procedures are followed throughout the project.
• Generates schedules, tracks progress, develops budgets, and reports to the Supervisor.
• Coordinates permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with laws and directives.
• Conducts field inspections and reports findings to supervisor.
• Ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget and quality standards.
