Job summary

Alston Construction seeks to hire a Project Manager to lead and coordinate the overall management of assigned projects, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and achieving profit goals while enhancing client relationships and the company’s image.

Essential duties include reviewing contract documents for conflicts, maintaining master schedules, document control, and collaboration with the Superintendent to meet budget, schedule, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience managing construction projects for a general contractor.
• Design-build experience on industrial/warehouse/manufacturing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the overall management of assigned projects to ensure safety, schedule adherence and budget attainment.
• Review contract documents for potential conflicts, risk and interpretation issues; ensure design/construction compliance.
• Maintain proper document control; submit close-out documents, including as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with Superintendent to manage project staff, budget, schedule, safety, and quality.
• Create and monitor detailed master project schedules; report progress against contract requirements.
• Lead or participate in responses to RFPls and site investigations; support project design and execution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
