Job summary

River Street Architecture + Interiors in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking a Construction Project Manager. This full-time, in-office role focuses on guiding projects from design through construction, ensuring clear, coordinated documents and quality outcomes.

You’ll collaborate with partners, clients, contractors, and vendors, review drawings, manage RFIs, and keep multiple projects moving forward while safeguarding design intent. Salary ranges $75,000–$95,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of general construction experience across building types.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review architectural and construction drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across emails, meetings, and on-site conversations.
• Experience reviewing submittals and RFIs is preferred.
• Degree in construction administration or construction management is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings for clarity and constructability.
• Ensure design documents and project requirements are followed during construction.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs accurately and promptly.
• Identify construction issues early and propose practical solutions.
• Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
• Visit project sites to gather information, document conditions, take measurements.
