Job summary

ARCO is hiring a Project Manager for its Kansas City area (Riverside) office to lead construction projects from inception to completion.

The role covers estimating, contract negotiations, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution, with heavy emphasis on value engineering and on-site leadership. A 3–5+ year PM background and a design-build preference are desired, using Procore, Bluebeam and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of project management experience; open to varying levels
• Design-build experience highly preferred
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception to completion, including estimating, contract negotiations, proposal prep, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and execution
• Ensure accurate and complete project estimates
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in owner meetings to review scope, reduce costs and provide value engineering
• Oversee buyout process and subcontractor selection
• Conduct biweekly on-site job-site meetings
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet/exceed client expectations
• Act with integrity supporting company values and associates
