Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East partners with a growing general contractor to fill a Project Manager role in Miami, FL. This hands-on position leads safe, cost-effective commercial and government construction projects from inception through closeout, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and stay on schedule and budget.

You'll manage budgets, schedules, vendors, and stakeholders, while promoting integrity, accountability, and operational excellence in every phase.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of related General Contracting experience in government/commercial sectors.
• Current OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR credentials (or obtainable within 30 days).
• Proficient with MS Office/Projects and PM software such as Adobe, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and RedTeam.
• Detail-oriented with a collaborative, proactive budget adherence and schedule coordination approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle from origination through closeout.
• Lead buyout, vendor selection, contract negotiation and administration, and procurement of long-lead items.
• Develop and communicate project schedules, obtain permits, submittals, RFIs, and drawing revisions.
• Identify and manage change orders and their cost and schedule impacts; lead meetings and stakeholder communications; prepare invoices.
