Summary Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join a growing Geotechnical division focused on specialized foundation and structural support projects. This is a hands‑on, customer-facing position responsible for managing geotechnical projects from planning and estimating through field execution and completion.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in geotechnical construction, foundation work, or heavy civil construction and a strong understanding of how projects are executed in the field.
Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical and foundation projects from initial planning through completion.
  • Projects entail micropiling, deep foundations, foundation drilling and large foundation systems supporting highway signage, electronic signage, retaining walls, and other civil and industrial structures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate field crews, equipment, subcontractors, materials, schedules, and project resources.
  • Provide hands‑on oversight of geotechnical and foundation installation activities.
  • Review project plans, specifications, site conditions, and geotechnical requirements.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, costs, change orders, and overall project performance.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and customers to ensure projects meet design and performance requirements.
  • Monitor field progress and address construction issues as they arise.
  • Assist with project estimating, proposals, planning, and execution strategies.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and communicate project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to provide field and customer support.
Qualifications
  • 5–10 years’ experience in geotechnical construction, foundation construction, heavy civil construction, or a closely related field.
  • Strong hands‑on understanding of geotechnical work, foundations, deep foundations, or micropiling.
  • Experience managing construction or geotechnical projects from a field perspective.
  • Experience with large foundation systems, retaining walls, highway structures, signage foundations, or similar civil infrastructure is desirable.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, project specifications, site conditions, and construction requirements.
  • Comfortable working both in the field and with customers, engineers and other internal teams.
  • Willingness to be hands‑on and actively involved in project execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Engineering. Experience in and progressed through the construction or geotechnical field with developed strong project management capabilities in lieu of degree
