Job summary

Foundation Personnel, a specialist recruitment partner to the geotechnical and foundations sector, is working with a leading foundation contractor to appoint a talented Project Manager.

This role supports preconstruction and delivery efforts for geotechnical construction projects across Texas, leading scope definition, team coordination, cost control, and schedule management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of geotechnical experience with knowledge of deep foundations.
• Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion.
• Leads an interdepartmental team to complete a project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
• Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
• Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
• Responsible for negotiation of the contract and understanding the contract requirements.
• Responsible for submittals, material ordering, pre-job planning and scheduling.
• Identifies and addresses challenges and opportunities to maximize profitability.
• Ensures compliance with all OSHA safety requirements.

Role Description

This is an opportunity for a technically proficient Project Manager to support/run preconstruction and delivery efforts for geotechnical construction projects throughout the state of Texas.

Key responsibilities include

• Develops project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure project completion.

• Ability to read and interpret geotechnical reports and construction documents
