Job summary

GP Development is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from inception to closeout, coordinating owners, architects, subcontractors, and field supervision to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Ideal candidates will manage multiple concurrent projects, balance priorities, and maintain strong client relationships while driving financial results and project success in Northern California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 5-10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Design-build delivery experience preferred.
• Experience working in the Northern California market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for assigned projects.
• Manage project teams and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
• Supervise and develop project staff including engineers and coordinators.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and establish procedures.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and quality plans.
• Administer owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Monitor safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout.
• Closeout projects with thorough turnover documentation.
