Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead Northern California projects for a well-established general contractor. You will manage commercial construction from award to closeout, coordinating with owners, designers, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver quality, on-time results.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of GC experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience overseeing projects ranging from millions to large, complex developments.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and contracts knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, subcontract agreements, and procurement logs.
• Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project financial performance, including forecasting, job costing, and change order management.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure milestones, safety requirements, and quality standards are achieved.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and contract documents.
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships that contribute to repeat business opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
