Job summary

BEAR Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to ensure project profitability and on-time delivery. The PM will oversee planning, schedules, budgets and documentation while coordinating with clients, design teams, and field staff.

Responsibilities include leading project goals, managing changes, preparing status reports, and mentoring junior team members to meet quality and safety standards across multiple concurrent projects in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience in commercial construction project management.
• College degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• OSHA Safety trained.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, drive and implement project goals as a core member of the project team.
• Drive customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Monitor compliance to codes, QA/QC policies and performance standards.
• Prepare, review and submit internal and external job status reporting.
• Manage change events, subcontractor contracts and proposals.
• Pre-construction process management and assisting with estimating.
• Lead Project Coordinators and other team members.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, estimators and vendors to define scope.
