ARCO Design/Build, Inc. in White Plains, NY and Jersey City, NJ seeks a motivated Project Manager to drive project performance from day one, with initial training in Charlotte, NC.

You will manage estimating, scheduling, design coordination, and client communications, ensuring quality and cost control across multiple sites. Ideal candidates bring 1–3+ years of hands-on construction PM experience, strong proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook, and the ability to balance priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, construction management, or mechanical engineering (or related engineering program).
• 1-3+ years of hands‑on construction experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer or related internships.
• Computer skills: proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines, and continually re‑evaluate the project priorities.
• Exhibit commitment to quality by evaluating project-related processes.
• Act with integrity supporting the company values while meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
• Work with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Participate in proposal meetings with owners to review scope, reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
• Prioritize tasks under tight deadlines to 100% completion.
• Communicate openly with leadership, train coops/interns, and uphold accountability.
