ARCO Design/Build is seeking a motivated Project Manager for our White Plains, NY and Jersey City, NJ teams, with a six-month training period in Charlotte, NC. You will oversee estimating, scheduling, design coordination and profitability from day one, while coordinating with owners, subs and the design team to deliver quality outcomes.

The role requires a civil/construction management or mechanical engineering background and 1–3+ years’ experience.

Qualifications

• BS in civil, construction management or mechanical engineering (or related field).
• 1–3+ years of hands-on construction experience as Project Manager or related roles.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to make decisions under tight deadlines and re-evaluate priorities.
• Commitment to quality and to meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer project activities, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, reporting and safety.
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop concept drawings.
• Lead buyout, subcontractor selection and bi-weekly site meetings.
• Communicate with leadership and mentor interns/co-ops.
• Ensure project performance and profitability from day one.
