Job summary
ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a qualified project manager to lead complex construction initiatives. The role encompasses estimating, proposal preparation, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution, with close collaboration to owners and design teams on concept drawings.
The position values strong estimating experience, design-build exposure, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of construction experience running projects with a general contractor; design/build preferred
- Advanced Technology, Food & Beverage, Multifamily, Life Science and/or Data Center project experience
- Estimating experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
- Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
- Participate in proposal meetings with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
- Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
- Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
- Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
- Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
