Job summary

ARCO, a family of construction companies, seeks a Project Engineer/Project Manager in Memphis to lead scope, estimates, scheduling, quality, progress reporting, and coordination with owners and the design team on vertical commercial projects.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Construction/Engineering/Architecture with a 3.0+ GPA and 2–5 years of design/build GC experience, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project. We offer robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• 2–5 years of design/build construction experience with a general contractor preferred.
• Vertical commercial construction experience.
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Manage all managerial and administrative aspects of a project: estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and cost reporting.
• Develop preliminary concept drawings with owners and the design team.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and participate in proposal meetings.
• Oversee buyout, subcontractor selection, and bi-weekly on-site meetings.
• Organize multiple activities, make sound decisions under deadlines, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Commit to quality and implement process improvements based on client feedback.
