Job summary

Forgen, LLC in Hubbard, TX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead geotechnical and civil construction projects. You will drive safety, manage client relationships, and coordinate estimates, schedules, and budgets to ensure profitable, on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Five years of progressive Project Management experience including supervision in deep foundations and earth retention.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office/Project, Primavera (P6); AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction engineering, codes, standards, and cross-functional relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership; able to resolve complex contract issues.
• Safety-focused, ethical, and committed to quality work.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.

Responsibilities

• Drive a safety culture promoting Incident and Injury Free Performance.
• Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work and resources required to complete the project.
• Assist with estimating and proposals for bid opportunities with detailed review of proposal specs, drawings, takeoff info, production rates, subcontractors and overall approach.
• Supervise total construction effort to ensure work aligns with design, budget and schedule; develop basic project schedules and manage costs including budgets, cost reports, forecasts and production reporting.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and onsite administrative staff).
• Understand contract requirements; recognize changes, develop claims, and lead claim and change negotiations.
• Supervise employees and subcontractors; hire and disciplinary actions for project staff.
• Provide technical assistance: interpretation of drawings, construction methods, and equipment; initiate and maintain extra work estimating and change orders.
• Ensure productivity, efficient use of materials/equipment, and contract performance of projects.
• Ensure overall profit and loss for assigned projects and perform additional duties as needed.
