Upgrade Resources in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Construction Project Manager for commercial and multifamily projects. This on-site role covers preconstruction through closeout, with responsibility for estimating, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and owner communication.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction, 3+ years PM, and hands-on experience with ground-up multifamily projects.
This position is with a Cleveland-area general contractor and real estate development firm built by industry veterans with more than 50 years of combined experience in construction, electrical contracting, and real estate development. As a full-service, merit shop general contractor, the company has self-performed and managed more than $300 million in construction work throughout Northeast Ohio, with a growing portfolio of ground-up commercial and multifamily developments. The organization was recently recognized as one of Ohio Business Magazine's 2026 Best Workplaces in Ohio.
The company operates as a lean, hands-on builder rather than a consulting or owner's-rep firm. Team members are given real project ownership, autonomy, and a direct line to leadership as the organization continues to scale across the region. This is a strong fit for a project manager who wants meaningful responsibility and visibility rather than getting lost in a large, bureaucratic organization.
The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role carries full responsibility for project delivery, including estimating, budget management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and owner communication.
The Project Manager will work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position requires a high level of independence, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, hands-on construction environment.
Ideal candidates are builders who can confidently run projects end to end, take ownership of outcomes, and maintain strong control over cost, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.
