Job summary

Midwest Concrete Constructors (MCC), backed by ARCO, seeks a Project Manager Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 in Richmond Heights, MO. This paid internship offers hands-on experience with estimating, scheduling, design reviews, buyout, permitting and site visits, with a path to full-time for top performers.

You will take a semester off and work 6-8 months full-time, contributing to projects nationwide while learning from seasoned professionals in a dynamic design-build environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management bachelor’s program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with estimating project value and proposals.
• Help schedule subcontractors and coordinate timelines.
• Attend design meetings with owner, engineers and architects.
• Assist buyout: issue bid instructions, receive proposals, and help award subs.
• Support permitting: prepare forms and coordinate approvals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals with PMs.
• Assist with billing: subcontracts, change orders and pay apps.
• Visit job sites to ensure work progresses smoothly.
